Sam immigrated to Canada in 1956 from Pescosolido Frosinone, Italy and became a proud Canadian Citizen in 1958.  He is fiercely proud of his dual heritage, a trait which shows up often in his community service and his involvement with charitable organizations.  Sam and his wife Donna have lived in Vaughan for over 37 years.  They are proud parents and grandparents of one son and their daughter Cristina who passed away in 1985 at the age of 10 and three grandchildren.

Business Experience:
Sam has created several small and medium-sized businesses which now employ over one hundred hard-working Canadians.  These businesses continue to prosper by organic growth, focusing on cost control, ongoing in house productivity improvements and relentless customer satisfaction.
In 2016, Masters Insurance Limited celebrated 50 years in the community, a company founded in partnership with two of Sam’s brothers, a close friend and ten of their children.  Together they have built the company into a mid-size insurance brokerage firm specializing in various construction insurance, manufacturing and contract bonds across Canada and the United States.

Community Service:
Despite the demands on his many business interests, Sam is an active volunteer in the community in Co-Chairing and raising funds for over 80 groups, including services clubs, hospital and research organizations, provincial ministries, community health centres, municipalities, charitable foundations and scholarship funds, which have benefitted from his time and talents over the years.  Some of the major areas of his record in community service include:  Member of the Board of Trustees from 1989-1998 for The Hospital for Sick Children, Co-Chair organizing committee in 2005 for Toronto Police Service to honour Chief Fantino and Chairman of all volunteer services for Hockey Canada 2015 and 2017 World Junior Championship and Chairman of the OPP 100th Anniversary.  The list goes on, thereby showing the true dedication and passion Sam Ciccolini has for the community.
